Hoil Naturals offer a range of organic full spectrum CBD oil’s, that go through a low pressure extraction method before being placed in the smartly presented bottles. What is a little different about this brand is that they’ve placed a strong focus on the terpenes.

Most CBD brands will highlight the cannabinoid profile, skipping past the terpenes. In fact, the lab reports will often not contain what terpenes are present and in what dosage. In contrast, Hoil Naturals offer a range of CBD oil’s, all with similar levels of cannabinoids found, however the key difference is the terpene presence.

Hoil Naturals is a CBD wellness brand that aims to improve people’s lives by providing organic, high quality CBD products to their customer base. The aromas and tastes are made from 100% natural terpenes, no artificial flavourings are used in any of their products.

All four terpene boosted options are made with an MCT oil base, however the Original is 100% hemp.

What Options Do They Offer?

You can pick from the Calm (linalool and nerolidol), Focus (alpha-pinene and Eucalyptol), Original, Relief (myrcene and beta-caryophyllene) or Uplift (D-lionene).

To be clear, they’re all full spectrum CBD oil’s, with a combination of cannabinoids present, however it’s the terpene boost they highlight as the critical difference.

The Relief terpene boost full spectrum oil I’m reviewing meets the stated levels of CBD & CBDA, while you will also find a presence of CBG, CBC and CBGA.

I personally found I preferred the taste of the Relief over the Original option, not that taste is the main factor in play, but I also found I had the greatest nights sleep with the Relief option, so this was certainly my favourite.

What Should I Know About Myrcene?

Myrcene is often found in relatively high quantities in cannabis, however it’s also found in thyme, mangoes and lemongrass.

Believed to provide calming effects in various studies, myrcene has an earthy aroma and can be quite pungent in high quantities. This terpene has also been shown to induce antinociception in mice according to this study.

What Should I Know About Beta-Caryophyllene?

Another common terpene found in cannabis, caryophyllene is the reason black pepper has the spicy peppery taste.

There are so many studies exploring this intriguing terpene, such as this one that explores whether beta-caryophyllene can help increase the speed wounds heal at.

Another study explored whether it can help mice with depression and anxiety. As always with cannabis, we need more human studies in order to say definitively what can be achieved through supplementation within our diet and via CBD oil, however the early signs are positive.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

Hoil Naturals offer two different strengths, 600mg or 1,200mg, while I’m testing out the 1,200mg tincture.

They all come in a 30ml tincture, so a full 1ml dropper of the 1,200mg tincture will provide you with 40mg of CBD, exactly how much I try to have each day. Obviously I have a little more than the average person, as I have built up a bit of a tolerance over time, so ½ a dropper of the 1,200mg or 1 full dropper of the 600mg tincture might be perfect for someone starting out.

As always, make sure to keep the drops under your tongue for 1-2 minutes in order for it to be properly absorbed, before swallowing the remaining mixture.

Where Can I Buy This From?

The 1,200mg Hoil Naturals Relief Full Spectrum CBD Oil is available from their website for £47.99, or you can gt the 600mg version for £29.99.
