celtic wind cbd powder

Today I’ll be reviewing my first CBD powder, created by the Irish brand Celtic Wind, making it a diverse product that can be consumed in multiple ways. As ever, don’t hesitate to get in contact if you have any questions about the product.

How Did It Taste?

How does CBD oil taste? Not great. How does anything with Omega 3 taste? Fishy. So I was expecting the worst when adding the powder to multiple meals, but I absolutely couldn’t taste it at all. The powder completely blended into my smoothies and then I tried it on my cereal and you couldn’t tell it was there (apart from its obvious appearance floating at the top of the bowl). So I felt very relieved as I have had some bad experiences over the past few months with taste.

I avoided adding the CBD powder to porridge just in case heating it up broke down the nutritional breakdown and bioavailability, so I stuck to a cold cereal and the smoothies.

It Contains Omega 3?

The product contains a balance of Omega 3,6 and 9. Unfortunately I can’t tell much more about the source of this and the breakdown of ALA, DHA and EPA. I don’t consume enough DHA in my diet, as I’m not a massive fan of oily fish, so if this has a high number then it is a big thumbs up from me, but it is hard to say.

How Much CBD Powder Do I Use?

The 40g pack contains a little scooper which you can use to perfectly measure out the amount to pick up and drop into your food. The scoop at full capacity holds 1.25 grams and you only use a single scoop once per day

How Much CBD Is In Each Serving?

The pack contains 1,600mg, which is quite a substantial amount compared to many of the other products I have dealt with. A pack of 40g is broken down into daily doses of 1.25g servings, which is 32 servings. This means that a single scoop should contain 50mgs of CBD (if my maths is correct, please let me know if I have got that horribly wrong).

Of course, not everyone takes 50mgs of CBD per day, therefore you can adjust the quantity you want to add based on your personal requirements.

The powder also contains the lesser known cannabigerol (CBG), which is being proven to have a huge range of benefits

How Long Will A Pack of CBD Powder Last?

Based on a single serving per day, you will get 32 servings, meaning a pack should last you just over a month. As mentioned previously, you don’t need to serve yourself a full scoop if you want to make the pack last and it is still getting the desired results.

Who Are Celtic Winds?

They’re an Irish company which started back in 2012, which actually makes them a veteran in the CBD world. They can proudly state they don’t use any pesticides or herbicides with their crops, while they utilise independent testing to ensure quality and authenticity.

Where Can I Buy Celtic Wind Hemp CBD Powder?

The powder can be bought directly from their website for €69.99, while it is available in a number of online and retail stores, most notably in the UK on Nature’s Health Box and Lloyd’s Pharmacy online and offline.
