How Much CBD Does It Contain?
The tincture contains 500mg of CBD, served in a 1 fl oz. I had to do a quick translation, as I work in millilitres. This basically works out as a 30ml bottle (29.57).
The CBD oil also contained a small amount of CBN and CBG. So while it was slightly under the targeted 500mg of CBD (491.3mg), it did contain 544.3mg of cannabinoids and CBG is my favourite of them all (42.2mg).
I was surprised by how nice this tasted. I presumed this was an unflavoured option, however it actually had a cherry flavour to it. Then following some further investigation on the website I saw it states it has a delicate fruit punch taste.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that the brand that made so many tasty gummies would have a good eye for a nice tasting CBD oil. The ingredients state that they’ve added stevia (as a sweetener over sugar) and natural flavouring.
What Does This Tincture Contain?
Along with the obvious inclusion of the broad spectrum hemp oil, providing you with the previously mentioned cannabinoids, this bottle also contains a number of other ingredients worth mentioning.
They use organic coconut oil as the carrier oil to increase the absorption rate and to make sure you get the most bioavailability after consumption.
They have also added Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12, along with the stevia and natural flavours.
Why Include Vitamin D3?
The sun might be finally coming out, but it doesn’t hide the fact that most people in the UK are deficient of this vitamin. This is even more important with vegans, with a lot of it coming from fish, red meat and eggs in our diet.
Vitamin D3 holds an important role in the body, helping to strengthen your bones and boost your immune system. It will support the absorption of calcium and can even improve your mood.
A 1/3 of the dropper will provide you with 400IU, which is actually 100% of the recommended daily requirement.
What About Vitamin B12?
Another vitamin that vegans tend to be deficient in, the reason is due to animals consuming soil which contains a bacteria that synthesizes to produce Vitamin B12.
Now I’m not recommending you head out to your garden and chew on the grass like a farm animal, but it does highlight an issue if you’re not eating meat.
The amount you require will depend on your age, gender and a number of different factors such as whether you have a deficiency or what you eat in your diet, but the general recommended daily intake for an adult is 2.4mcg. a 1.3 drop of the Sunday Scaries CBD oil will provide you with more than enough, containing 6.2mcg.
Where Can I Buy This From?
You can buy the Sunday Scaries CBD oil from their website for £54. This leaves you £1 short of the minimum price for free shipping, so you may want to have a look through their product range, while I can strongly recommend their sour vegan gummies if you’re a fan of something tangy.
