good hemp cbd oil

Since I started CBD Sloth, back in 2019, there has been a huge amount of CBD brands enter the market. In fact, I’ve been contacted by around 25 in the last month alone. However, back in mid 2019, I was already aware of the Good Hemp.

They hadn’t yet launched their CBD oil’s, I was aware of the brand due to the hemp based protein powder they created, something which really intrigued me. Alongside this amino acid packed product, they also offered dairy alternatives to milk, something I was venturing a little more into. Therefore, you can understand my interest when they launched their CBD oil’s.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

It depends on the product you choose, I’ve been testing two variations, being the natural 2,000mg CBD and the 250mg peppermint.

If you want a flavoured option, being citrus or peppermint, they both come in 250mg CBD. However, if you want something stronger, which many will need, you might be better off going for the natural version, where you can pick from 250mg, 1,000mg or 2,000mg.

All of the options contain a small amount of other cannabinoids outside of CBD, such as CBDV, CBG and THC (below the legal UK limit obviously).

You should always look at a lab report before making a purchase, which you can find from the product page. If you’ve already purchased your CBD oil, you will find the corresponding batch code on the base of the packaging, which you can use to ascertain you’ve got the right lab report matching a product from the batch you’ve bought.

The serving size they’d recommend depends on the strength you purchase. For example, on the 2,000mg tincture, they recommend 2 drops, which would equal 20mg of CBD at 10mg per drop. On the other hand, on the 250mg, they recommend 5 drops, which be 6.25mg of CBD.

You need to work out what works best for you, so start low and build up till you find the right dosage. I personally take 40mg of CBD per day, but I’ve taken a fair amount over the past couple of years, building up my tolerance levels.

How Did You Find The Flavour?

I don’t have any issues with opting for a natural tasting CBD oil, however I know a huge number of people that do struggle with the taste.

I would generally recommend going for the natural CBD oil, either 1,000mg or 2,000mg, however if you do struggle with the taste, then looking into either the citrus or peppermint is a great alternative route to ensure you get CBD into your system.

Who Are Good Hemp?

I love the line on their website, “our vision is a world where all food and drink is sustainable”, highlighting not just a focus on creating a high quality range of products, but implementing this in a sustainable fashion with the environment playing a huge part in their business focus.

As I’ve previously mentioned, while the CBD oil range might be new, Good Hemp are far from a new company, with the Devon based company running for over 20 years.

Henry and Glym started growing hemp on their farm in North Devon, seeing it as a great plant as it could and should be grown completely organically due to its porous nature, while it’s also great for the soil and sustainability. Since then, their products have become a staple in a number of stores, such as Waitrose.

Where Can I Purchase This From?

You can order yourself the Good Hemp 2,000mg natural CBD oil for £75, or alternatively the peppermint 250mg CBD oil for £15 from their website. You can also enjoy 20% off with the discount code ‘SLOTH2021’.

The Good Hemp CBD range is exclusively available for UK delivery, with wider European availability expected in early 2021.

Being based in Brighton, I have directly witnessed the CBD industry grow and prosper, albeit witnessing the difficulties around legislation and the lack of transparency. I therefore decided to become a neutral viewpoint offering genuine reviews, advice and guidance.
