Today I’m reviewing the Cubid CBD peppermint oil drops, coming in a 30ml bottle. This is another great tasting and premium oil available in the UK.
How Did It Taste?
Unsurprisingly, considering its title, it tasted completely of peppermint. However for anyone that has struggled with the taste of CBD oil, they will know how important this is, as it completely covers the flavour you expect to hit you.
How Much CBD Oil Is There?
The bottle is a 500mg full spectrum oil, with 330mg CBD and other cannabinoids. This means it contains 66% CBD. If you were to opt for the 1,000mg version, the break down remains the same, it just doubles.
Where Can You Purchase Cubid CBD From?
Cubid Peppermint CBD Oil can be purchased from their website, where its available for £34.99 for the 500mg bottle or £54.99 for the 1,000mg one.
How Much Do I Take?
You can take two to three drops under your tongue twice per day, depending on how much you require and what works best for your body. If you are trying CBD oil for the first time, always start off slow and build up if needed. They recommend holding under your tongue for 20 seconds before swallowing, but I often recommend when consuming CBD oil sublingually to actually keep it under your tongue for a good minute.
How Long Does A Bottle Last?
As you can imagine, if you’re going on the full dosage they state of 3 drops twice per day, you will burn through a bottle in less than a week. At the moment I’m just having a single drop each day, therefore it should last a fair amount longer. In regards to life expectancy, my bottle has just short of 2 years before it reaches its expiry date.
Who Are Cubid CBD?
Cubid CBD are a British based company, offering high performance, superior quality CBD goods, combining their brilliant quality CBD along with essential oils and natural botanicals. But something that stands out for me is their level of transparency, something amiss largely in the CBD industry currently. They utilise safe methods or production and ensure a high level of quality with their product range.
Where Is The Product Manufactured?
The CBD extract is sourced from a farm in Colorado, while the product is manufactured in the UK. As you may already know, Colorado has a great reputation for the hemp farms based there, so you can often rest assured.
Why Drops Over Spray?
While they both work at transferring the contained CBD oil into your mouth, to be consumed sublingually, I do prefer drops, as they offer a greater control on getting the exact quantity right. At the end of the day, you do one full squeeze and you fill it up, job done!
This doesn’t come from researching their website or any information I have found, this is a personal opinion. I believe it is a flavour that can utilise natural flavours, essential oils or ingredients without stacking your product full of sugars or hidden nasty ingredients. The Uncle Buds Industrial Hemp also utilised a peppermint flavour, so it seems pretty consistent in the industry.
